Gators rebound with blowout win on the road
The Gators rebounded from their loss against Brookwood in the first game of the season, earning a blowout win against the Bell High School Bulldogs last Tuesday.
Traveling to Gilchrist County, Wewahitchka was able to put 46 points up on the board, with the Bulldogs earning just 6 before the clock ran out.
With the win, Wewahitchka upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. Bell fell to 0-2.
The Gators host Dixie County (Cross City) in a non-league outing on Friday, Sept. 15. The Bears go into the game with a record of 1-1.
“We need all of Gator Nation to take time out of their busy week and come enjoy watching these young men represent our community,” wrote the school’s football program in a Facebook post.
