Community celebrates PortOberfest at City Hall Park

There was a long line for bratwursts and beer at the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce’s PortOberfest celebration on September 24 as members of the community came out to enjoy the sunny weather and a celebration with friends and neighbors.

The event featured booths from local art vendors, live music by the Hunter Wall Band, Oktoberfest beer from local breweries and bratwursts supplied by Grateful Redz Hot Dogz.

“Thank you to everyone that came out and supported the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce at PortOberfest last Saturday,” the chamber of commerce wrote in a Facebook post after the event.

“We would like to extend our gratitude to our amazing members that made this event possible: big shout out to Grateful Redz Hot Dogz, Stock the Bar, and Acentria Insurance for providing us with event insurance. Last but not least a big thank you goes out to our sponsors Lisa Forehand with Beach Properties Real Estate Group and BeMajor team, Exp Realty.”
