Chamber of commerce prepares to host Scallop Festival
The annual Scallop, Music and Arts Festival will kick off this Saturday at George Core Park for the 25th time.
Hosted by the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce, the festival will run Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4. Gates will open at noon on both days.
“Everyone is excited for this year’s event,” said Joe Whitmer, the director of the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce. “We will have several vendors offering a variety of seafood options, including scallops!”
“Arts, crafts, clothing, home decor and jewelry vendors from all over the region will be onsite, and we are very excited about our incredible music lineup.”
Tickets can be bought online ahead of the event or at the gates the day of the show. One-Day pass are $15 each. Two-Day passes are $25. Kids under 12 can get in for free.
