UPDATE: Due to portential weather complications, the event in Port St. Joe has been postponed until October 25.
Free educational events covering Medicare Health Plans will be offered at both public libraries in Gulf County in the coming days.
The classes, taught be Ken Searcy, a licensed agent, aim to help teach senior citizens about the Medicare benefits available to them.
The event will be held at the Corrine Costin Gibson meorial Public Library in Port St. Joe on Tuesday, September 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT.
At the Charles Whitehead Public Library in Wewahitchka, the class will take place on Tuesday, October 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. CDT.
