Venita “Vinny” Lane, 81, of Panama City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024.
Vinny was born on December 18, 1942 in Kinsley, KS and served her country in the U.S. Air Force as a Nurse. She loved playing solitaire, watching crime shows, reading books, gardening and spending time with her family.
Vinny is preceded in death by her parents, Florance and Herman Katz of Kinsley, KS; and sisters, Velda Mages and Marilyn Nightingale.
Left to treasure her memory is her daughter, Rachel Huft; son, Tyler Lane; grandson, Jacob Huft (Kaylee); brother, Merle Katz (Jan); and nine nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, 4060 FL-71, Wewahitchka, with John Huft officiating. Vinny’s final resting place will be at Hillside Cemetery in Kinsley, KS.
