Trenton Wayne Sutton, 24 of Wewahitchka passed away on October 15, 2024.

Born March 29, 2000 in Panama City, FL, he spent most of his childhood in Port St Joe, FL where he was an avid baseball player and beloved friend. He later moved to Nashville, GA where he graduated from Berrien County High School.

After High School, Trenton returned to Gulf County, FL and became a roofer by trade. He enjoyed all things outdoors. Whether riding 4 wheelers, playing along the beaches, or boating down the river, he was happiest in any of these settings. Trenton believed animals were man’s greatest companion, and thoroughly enjoyed the comfort they brought.

Trenton is preceded in death by his mother, Macie (Tapper) Vasilinda, maternal grandmother, Dorothy ‘Dottie’ Layfield, maternal great grandparents, Ben & Magnolia ‘Toby’ Gay of Port St Joe, maternal great grandfather, Roy Layfield of Wewahitchka, FL. Paternal grandfather, Mark Sutton of Nashville, GA and great grandparents Sonny & Mary Lou Barfield of Lake Park, GA.

His memory will forever be loved and cherished by his father, Blair & stepmother Tammy Sutton of Nashville, GA. Sister, Marley Sutton of Nashville, GA, and brothers Leelyn Rollins, and Chase Vasilinda of Wewahitchka, FL. Paternal grandparents, Glenn & Brenda Adkins of Valdosta, GA, maternal grandfather Wayne Layfield of Mexico Beach, FL, and maternal great grandmother, Thelma Layfield of Wewahitchka. Stepfather, Keith Vasilinda, and step grandparents, Robert Daniels and Marcie Vasilinda of Wewahitchka, FL. Trenton also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
