Robert Kent Hanson III (known as Bob Hanson by his friends and family) was sixty-eight when he passed away on March 3rd, 2024. He passed peacefully in his home in Port St Joe, Florida with his friends and daughter by his side.

Bob was born on April 27th, 1955, in Norfolk, Virginia. He was a man of great talents, fantastic humor, and a can- do stubborn attitude that never quit until the very end. Bob enjoyed exploring the local bay and waterways as well as riding his Harley with his friends and daughter. He was the expert trim craftsman for Windolf Construction for 10+ years. There are a number of homes and businesses in the area that show the results of his beautiful skills.

Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife and life partner, Lana Lee Tucker, his parents Robert Kent Hanson II and Mary Griffith, and his friends Wanda Montague, Windy Gray.

He is survived by daughters Bobby Joe Hanson, Candy Lanning, and Katrina Hanson, son Chris Hanson, brothers Mike Hanson and Mark Hanson, sisters Elinda Hanson, Kelly Hanson, and Terra Hanson, and his loving friends Paula Oaks, Joey Sheer, and Bob Windolf.
