Mrs. Carole Appling Webb, 84, of Mexico Beach, Florida, passed away on June 11, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Millard and Loy Puckett Appling, daughter Gina Burkhart (Roger), daughter Lisa Wannamaker (Noell); brothers Jerry (Emily) and James Appling (Shirley), and sister Lola Smithson.

She is survived by: by her husband of 48 years, Victor Webb; daughters  Angie (Rodney), Lisa (Jerry), Samantha (Paul), Rebecca (Joe); daughters Viki (Craig), Beautiful Connie; and son Russell (Tracey); grandchildren Ricky, Zach (Onilee), Melissa (Ben), Caroline (Brian), Stefanie, Allison, Austin, Tyler, Sophia, Josh, Caitlin (Sue), Joey (Ella), Sidney, Ben (Jennifer), Kyle (Kate), Jacob (Jessi), Whitfield (Brittany), Moore (Samantha), Tatum (Cheyenne), and Ian; along with 24 great grandchildren. Carole is also survived by her siblings; Joe (Pat), Richard (Diane), Rachel (Terry), Margaret (Don), Faye (Otis), Margie (Mike), 24 nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

Carole was born on August 25, 1939 in Buford, Georgia.  She attended West Fulton High School in Atlanta. Carole worked in several treasured places, namely El Chico and West Side Graphics, a copy store she owned and operated with her husband. Later they moved to Mexico Beach, where they created memories on the Wonder Porch with great neighbors, at dinners at Top of the Gulf and the Fish House, with Miss Birdie at the Hideaway Harbor, and deepened the love of the Forgotten Coast for now five generations.

The family will have a private celebration during their annual vacation to celebrate Carole as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
