Betty Jean Collinsworth, age 90, of DeFuniak Springs, Florida passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024. She was born April 14, 1934 in Cottondale, Florida. She was a devoted wife and mother with an unshakeable faith in Jesus Christ the Lord. The Church and her family were the rock of her life, and she will be very missed by her family and her family in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Collinsworth and her five siblings, Della Mae Chandler, Curtis Harper, Lottie Parziale, Virginia Graves, and Deward Harper.

Betty is survived by her son, Tim Collinsworth (Donna) of Pensacola, FL; three daughters, Julie Richardson (Barry) of Brevard, NC, Karen Borel (Ray) of Panama City, FL, and Laura Herbert Spycia (Greg) of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Jeremy Richardson, Jason Richardson (Elisha), Traci Naff (David), Amber Collinsworth, Amilea Sork (Jared), and Celeste Borel; and great grandchildren, Mia and Josiah Richardson and Collier Naff.

A time of visitation will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2024 in the chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, from noon until 2:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at Gaskin Cemetery beginning at 2:30 p.m. with Minister Jimmy Watson officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be: Deward (Dee) Harper, Jason Richardson, Ivan Chandler, Chandler Harrison, Tristan Merchant, and Tennyson Greggs.
