Highland View hosts Saturday egg hunt
Highland View Baptist Church, 310 Long Street in Port St. Joe is hosting a community Easter Egg Hunt Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m. ET There will be plenty of eggs, filled with candy, for every child, ages 11 and under, with a small section for toddlers!.
On Easter Sunday the church will have a sunrise service at 7 a.m. with church services at 10:30 a.m.
Wewahitchka to have sunrise service
The Dead Lakes RV Park and Campground, at 482 Gary Rowell Road in Wewahitchka, will be the site of an Easter Sunrise Service, starting at 6:30 a.m. CT. A free breakfast will follow from 10 a.m. to noon, with an Easter Egg Hunt for everyone from noon to 2 p.m.

David Adlerstein, The Apalachicola Times’ digital editor, started with the news outlet in January 2002 as a reporter.
Prior to then, David Adlerstein began as a newspaperman with a small Boston weekly, after graduating magna cum laude from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He later edited the weekly Bellville Times, and as business reporter for the daily Marion Star, both not far from his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.
In 1995, he moved to South Florida, and worked as a business reporter and editor of Medical Business newspaper. In Jan. 2002, he began with the Apalachicola Times, first as reporter and later as editor, and in Oct. 2020, also began editing the Port St. Joe Star.
