Charles Edgar Zimmerman, 78, of Wewahitchka, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Charles was born on October 4, 1946 in Harrisburg, PA. He graduated from Port St. Joe High School where he played football. Charles went on to retire from Arizona Chemical. He loved spending time with his family and telling stories to his grandchildren and great-grandsons (aka his “boys”). Charles also loved the Lord and enjoyed singing gospel songs.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl “Yank” and Janie Zimmerman.

Left to treasure Charles’ memory is his wife of 52 years, Gail Zimmerman; daughters, Melissa Zimmerman Webb, Aurelia Zimmerman Presnell (Mark) and Melody Zimmerman Vazquez (Raymond); grandchildren, Audreanna Cooper, Buddy Davidson, Katarena Dalton and Charles Miller; great-grandchildren, Alejandro Vazquez, Andray Cooper, Anthony Vazquez, David Dalton and Charles Dalton; brother, Carl Zimmerman (Debbie); niece, Dawn Zimmerman; and nephew, C.J. Zimmerman.
