Proud to be the son of Gulf County leader
I am very impressed with your article on Gulf County property appraiser, the Honorable Mitch Burke, being recognized by his peers as president of the Florida Property Appraisers Association, (See Star, Oct. 17, 2024 “Local property appraisers honored at annual conference”)
This is a well-deserved honor both for Mitch and Gulf County.
When my father, Harland Pridgeon, who was Gulf County tax collector for 30 years, was also honored as president of the Florida Tax Collectors Association, I was really proud to be a son and a Gulf County resident.
Mitch, keep up the outstanding service to our small but great county,
Most sincerely,
B.H. Pridgeon, Sr.
