On a warm Fat Tuesday, March 4 afternoon under sunny skies, the crowds lined Reid Avenue in downtown Port St. Joe for the annual Mardi Gras Parade, hosted by the Forgotten Krewe.
Led by grand marshall J.R. Grady, owner of Dagwood’s Delicatessan, the lengthy parade featured lots of people dressed in purple and yellow, their faces hidden by glittery masks, riding in golf carts or atop floats, all tossing beads and candy to the families that lined both sides of the street in ample numbers.
