Christmas in the Garden this Saturday
The Garden Club of Port St. Joe will host its annual Christmas in the Garden this Saturday, Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. ET at the Garden Club located at 216 Eighth Street.
On hand will be lots of beachy holiday items, fresh centerpieces, one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts, hostess gifts, and stocking stuffers, all part of shopping locally in Port St. Joe.
Stop at the Sweet Shoppe inside stocked with the finest desserts to make your entertaining a breeze. There are several raffle baskets, provided through the help and generosity of the community.
All the money raised goes back into the community. The Garden Club finds great joy in bringing the beauty of plants to seniors, children, family, and tourists to enjoy every season.
Meet the Editor
David Adlerstein, The Apalachicola Times’ digital editor, started with the news outlet in January 2002 as a reporter.
Prior to then, David Adlerstein began as a newspaperman with a small Boston weekly, after graduating magna cum laude from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He later edited the weekly Bellville Times, and as business reporter for the daily Marion Star, both not far from his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.
In 1995, he moved to South Florida, and worked as a business reporter and editor of Medical Business newspaper. In Jan. 2002, he began with the Apalachicola Times, first as reporter and later as editor, and in Oct. 2020, also began editing the Port St. Joe Star.
