SGFR works to fight hunger

On Saturday, Nov. 9, members of South Gulf Fire Rescue donated and delivered 50 turkeys to the food pantry, Two Fish Food Market, in Port St. Joe. “Hunger is a reality for many families in Gulf County,” said SGFR Fire Chief Mike Barrett. “We are thankful for the chance to team up with the Piggly Wiggly to make this happen. Our fire department is teaming up with multiple corporations and businesses to target needs within our community. We are committed to fight hunger in Gulf County at the same level that we fight fire.”
