Candidates to square off in Honeyville next week

The GFWC Wewahitchka Woman’s Club is pleased to announce their upcoming event, “Meet the Candidates,” on Thursday, Aug. 1 at 6 p.m. CT at the Honeyville Community Center.

An engaging and informative event designed to foster community involvement and civic awareness, this gathering offers residents a unique opportunity to hear directly from candidates running for local office, and ask pertinent questions. By facilitating this dialogue, the club aims to empower voters with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions at the polls. Join us for an evening of meaningful conversation and community engagement, as we work together to shape the future of Gulf County.

Candidates interested in participating are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. Additionally, those wishing to ask the candidate’s questions may do so by emailing Laura Baxley at laurabaxley@icloud.com and LeAnne Coulter at bennael@gmail.com. This ensures that all community members have the opportunity to voice their concerns and gain insight into the candidates’ platform. Don’t miss this chance to meet your candidates and participate in shaping the future of Gulf County.
