County Easter egg hunt Saturday morning
The club is partnering with the Junior Service League of Port St. Joe, The Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY), Florida Department of Corrections, Gulf County Tourist Development Council, and the Gulf County Sheriff’s Department for the huge 2024 Gulf County Easter Egg Hunt at Honeyville Park and Community Center.
The event will be this Saturday, March 23 starting at 9 a.m. CT/10 a.m. ET, and concluding at 11 a.m./ Noon ET. It’s free! Come meet the Easter Bunny and get a picture. There will be games, prizes, hot dogs, crafts and more. Did I mention it is free?
The GFWC Wewahitchka Woman’s Club meetings are the second Tuesday of the month, at 5:30 p.m. CT at the Wewahitchka Senior Citizens Building. Meet the Editor
David Adlerstein, The Apalachicola Times’ digital editor, started with the news outlet in January 2002 as a reporter.
Prior to then, David Adlerstein began as a newspaperman with a small Boston weekly, after graduating magna cum laude from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. He later edited the weekly Bellville Times, and as business reporter for the daily Marion Star, both not far from his hometown of Columbus, Ohio.
In 1995, he moved to South Florida, and worked as a business reporter and editor of Medical Business newspaper. In Jan. 2002, he began with the Apalachicola Times, first as reporter and later as editor, and in Oct. 2020, also began editing the Port St. Joe Star.
