Appreciative of a balanced news source

I don’t agree with the comments made in the Feb. 15 letter to the editor (See “Hart, Charen are as liberal as can be”) and I submit two reasons. First of all, it is obvious Ron Hart is a political satirist and is quite humorous. In fact he is very resourceful in his subject matter and the first section I read when I receive the paper, as in today’s world I need a chuckle.

As a conservative I also appreciate hearing Mona Charen’s opposite view, because I believe in a balanced news source expressing the issues, leaving the reader informed and able to make one’s own decisions in life.

Top that off with Kelsey Colbert’s homey approach to life as it was, and wishing it still was the same, bringing back memories for us old folks is a trifecta with Christine Flowers completing the team.

To be frank, I believe you have put together a right sweet newspaper for the east Panhandle region and I applaud your diligence.

Just a few thoughts from a Middle Georgia guy.

Thanks,
