Blues on Reid

In a little more than two weeks’ time, Reid Avenue will be transformed for one afternoon only into a foot traffic only celebration of blues music and local businesses.

An annual event drawing hundreds of visitors to the town, Blues on Reid will be set up by the Gulf County Chamber of Commerce in downtown Port St. Joe on March 25.

This year’s line-up features some of the most lucrative artists in the festival’s history

Hear acclaimed pianist Sunday at Trinity

The Ilse Newell Fund for the Performing Arts will close out the 2023 season with a program by concert pianist Sasha Kasman Laude this Sunday, March 26 at 4 p.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, 79 6th Street, Apalachicola. 

Admission is $20 per person, with open seating. Tickets available in advance at www.inconcertapalachicola.org, or by a cash donation at the door. A reception will be held in Benedict Hall after the concert.

 

Free Christian movie night

Beach Baptist Church in St. Joe Beach will be hosting a free movie night on Friday at 5:30 p.m. EDT. The movie will be a Christian movie. The church is located at 311 Columbus Street.
