St. Joe NJROTC receives donation from Junior Service League
On Wednesday, the Junior Service League of Port St. joe presented Port St. Joe High School’s NJROTC program with a check for $1,500.
The money will go towards helping the program fund an effort to send several of the organization’s students to a leadership-focused summer camp.
“This was a huge gift given by the Port St. Joe Junior Service League,” said the NJROTC program’s director Jeff Martin. “Since we do fundraising to support our trips and activities, this gift by the JSL will help send 8 Student-Cadets to a 5 day summer camp. The camp will focus on citizenship, leadership training, boating, fishing, hiking, and all kinds of life-skills. We are very thankful for this gift.”
